Mercer On Mission
Crossing cultures. Changing lives.
Founded in 2007, the University’s distinctive Mercer On Mission program combines academic instruction, cultural immersion, and meaningful service to equip students and faculty to meet some of the most fundamental needs of humanity.
Live among people in other countries. See first hand the challenges they face. Participate with them in building projects. Join them in tutoring and mentoring experiences. Provide relief assistance and basic medical care. Use research incubated in Mercer labs and classrooms to solve real-world problems.
Through Mercer On Mission, the College of Education has traveled to seven countries to teach students and lead faculty development workshops.
