School and System Partners - Enterprise Learning Partnerships

Mercer University’s College of Education understands the lifestyle of busy educators, and we are committed to delivering quality degree programs that offer value, convenience, and flexibility, allowing educators to advance their own education while remaining in the classroom. To honor this commitment, the University and the College of Education have established educational partnerships through the Enterprise Learning Partnerships (ELP) program, designed to form and strengthen relationships with public and independent schools and school systems, that are dedicated to supporting educators’ educational goals and ongoing professional development. This program provides affordable opportunities for employees of partner schools and school systems to attend a GaPSC-approved degree program of study at Mercer University.

Programs available in the College of Education may include:

  • B.S.Ed. programs for initial teacher certification candidates who do not hold a bachelor’s degree
  • M.A.T. programs for initial teacher certification candidates who do hold a bachelor’s degree
  • M.Ed., Ed.S., and Ph.D. advanced teacher education degree programs
  • M.Ed., Ed.S., and Ph.D. educational leadership degree programs
  • M.Ed. and Ph.D. higher education leadership degree programs
  • M.S. in School Counseling degree program
  • Certification-only (non-degree) programs
  • Endorsements

Program benefits include:

  • 25% tuition benefit for initial teacher certification programs and 10% tuition benefit for advanced and educational leadership programs
  • Waived application fee
  • Streamlined application process
  • Transfer credit policy, including the opportunity to earn course credit for prior learning
  • Opportunity to complete field placement while maintaining current teaching position
