Dr. Mark Scott is Superintendent of Schools for Houston County Schools. He spent ten years as a classroom teacher before becoming an Assistant Principal at Baldwin High School and the Principal at Oak Hill Middle School in Milledgeville. Dr. Scott also served as the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and the Principal of Northside High School in Houston County. He earned a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Mercer University, a Specialist in Educational Leadership from Georgia College & State University, and a Master of Technological Studies and Bachelor of Trade and Industrial Education, both from the University of Georgia.
