Mercer University’s Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Higher Education Leadership is designed for individuals who are seeking careers as directors, coordinators, managers, or supervisors in higher education at the mid-administration or mid-management level. Complete the 30-hour program in 12–16 months and prepare to make an impact as a higher education leader. Mercer’s higher education leadership program allows you to choose from one of three program tracks:
- Athletics Leadership—build or advance your career in college athletics through studying the ethical, economic, financial, and legal impact athletics has on colleges and universities
- Postsecondary Administration—study higher education administration topics, including institutional structure and governance, policy development, advocacy, conflict management, decision-making, and cultural topics
- Student Affairs Leadership—explore how to lead both traditional students and adult learners by studying social development and analyzing various models of academic advising, strategic enrollment management, and more
