Become a University supervisor
Mercer’s College of Education has initial teacher education programs in various fields. University supervisors are carefully selected as this role is critical in the professional preparation and success of our teacher candidates.
Qualifications:
The Office of Field Placement seeks to recruit supervisors who have at least a master’s degree, are/have been certified, and have at least three years of successful experience in a P-12 setting. Priority is given to teachers and administrators who have experience mentoring new teachers, providing professional development for teachers, and/or evaluating teachers. Clinical educators must also be able to utilize appropriate technology-based applications in all clinical placement settings. They are expected to demonstrate proficiency in and use of applicable technology.
