Amanda Buice
Amanda Buice serves as the Executive Director of the Georgia Youth Science and Technology Centers (GYSTC), Inc., a non-profit educational organization designed to increase interest and enthusiasm for STEM subjects particularly among elementary and middle school teachers, students, and families. GYSTC is headquartered at Kennesaw State University and has regional centers on campuses across Georgia including Mercer University. Previously she served at the Georgia Department of Education as the Science Program Manager and oversaw the Title IIB Mathematics and Science Partnership grants program. As a classroom teacher, Amanda was recognized as a Presidential Awardee for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Georgia and has a Master of Education from Mercer University. She resides in Barnesville, Georgia with her husband, a graduate of the Mercer University School of Medicine.
