Welcome to Mercer University!
Take the following next steps to complete the enrollment process.
Questions or concerns? Contact our admissions team at mercereducation@mercer.edu or 678.547.6084.
Submit all final transcripts as soon as possible
If you are current enrolled in any coursework or if you have completed any coursework since submitting your application, please have all final copies of these transcripts sent to Mercer. Your transcripts help determine your Mercer class schedule and federal financial aid.
Submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)*
Complete your FAFSA as early as possible to be considered for every type of financial assistance available. Mercer’s federal school code is 001580. Submit your application at studentaid.ed.gov.
*Please note: Non-degree students are not eligible for federal financial aid loans; however, private alternative loans may be explored at banks or credit unions for financing coursework. Mercer also offers a monthly payment plan option. Get more information on payment plans and tuition rates through the Office of the Bursar.
Access your MyMercer account at my.mercer.edu
Mercer’s Information Technology Help Desk will send your MyMercer username and password to the email address used to create your application.
Digitally accept the Statement of Student Responsibilities
All Mercer students must sign their Statement of Student Responsibilities before they are eligible to register for classes. This is the first screen you will see when you log into your MyMercer account for the first time. Simply read the statement, check the box at the end, and select OK. If you have any questions about the Statement of Student Responsibilities, please contact the Office of the Bursar at 678.547.6121. Additional information about student rights and responsibilities, including university regulations and policies, can be found in the Academic Catalog for your school/program or the student handbook for your school/program.
Review your financial aid award letter in your MyMercer account
Details of your financial aid award package, if applicable, will be available through MyMercer and you will be notified via email when it is ready. If you have any questions, contact the Office of Student Financial Planning at 678.547.6444.

Review the student health insurance and waiver process
Mercer University requires students enrolled in three or more hours on the Macon, Atlanta, Savannah, and Columbus campuses to provide proof of health insurance coverage each semester. If you already have coverage under another policy, you may waive the university-provided health insurance premium by completing the health insurance waiver process by the drop/add deadline. Visit bursar.mercer.edu/studentinsurance for more information.
Student insurance option is waived for fully online students.
