The University maintains a health service for students on the Atlanta campus. Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides medical and mental health services to all currently enrolled Mercer students. The CAPS staff works as an integrated treatment team to provide quality care. Most services are free of charge, and any costs incurred can be paid at the time of service or billed to the student account. Appointments are encouraged, and walk-in visits will be accommodated when possible. Our hope is to provide an atmosphere that is welcoming and respectful of the dignity and worth of all students.
