Biography

Dr. Bruce Sliger has held several leadership positions in the public schools (high school teacher, department chair assistant principal, elementary school principal, and middle school principal). He was selected for the first ""Excellence in Teaching Award"" in the School of Education at Mercer University. Dr. Sliger teaches graduate courses in both the curriculum and instruction program and the teacher education program. Dr. Sliger is the coordinator of the Teacher Leadership Ed.S. Program. His areas of interest include teacher leadership, grantsmanship. integrating technology into the curriculum, curriculum development, instructional supervision, teacher evaluation,
organizational behavior, school climate, learning communities, and school restructuring. He has
authored articles on grant writing and technology planning. Dr. Sliger wrote a book
entitled ""Grant Writing for Teachers and School Administrators."
