Educator Testing

Georgia Assessment for the Certification of Educators (GACE)

The Georgia Professional Standards Commission (PSC) requires that applicants to teacher certification programs demonstrate  basic skills in reading, mathematics, and writing through the GACE Basic Skills Assessment (see Admission Tests).  Prior to receiving certification, candidates must demonstrate mastery of their content areas through the GACE Content Assessments (see Certification Tests).  For additional information about the PSC's requirements, visit the Georgia Professional Standards Commission Educator Testing website.
