Placements in Private Schools

Students may request placement in a private or specialty school (e.g., Montessori).  Such schools must be accredited by one or more of the following: the Georgia Accrediting Commission, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), or NAEYC. Documentation of accreditation must be provided to the appropriate Office of Field Placement at the time the application is submitted. Further, any request for placement in such schools must be approved by the Director of Field Placement.
