Health Issues

Teacher candidates are required, as an integral part of their programs of study, to participate in field experiences in schools and in other educational settings.  Teacher candidates who are pregnant or have significant health-related issues are cautioned that field experience environments might present risks. Candidates are encouraged to address the field experience requirements with their personal physicians.
