Grading

All Teacher Education field experiences are evaluated by the Cooperating Teacher(s) and the University Supervisor(s). Criteria for evaluation of each field experience are presented in the appropriate fieldwork syllabus. All undergraduate field experiences are evaluated on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis. All MAT field experiences are evaluated with letter grades.  The University Supervisor is responsible for assigning the final grade. A candidate who receives an unsatisfactory grade must reapply for the field experience subject to the approval of his/her Advisor, the appropriate Chair, and the Director of Field Placement. All criteria for application must be met. Candidates may not attempt an individual field experience more than twice.
